The UK’s largest self-storage group has hailed a “good performance” in the first half of its financial year as it delivered double-digit growth in pre-tax profits.
Frederic Vecchioli, chief executive of Borehamwood-headquartered Safestore, said the initiatives taken over the last 18 months to enhance operational performance are now reflected in “sustained and improved trading”.
He added that the group’s “strongly positioned” Parisian business has delivered a “robust performance” and its 17th year of consecutive growth.
Safestore reported turnover of £50.4m for the six months to 30 April 2015, an increase of 7.5 per cent from £46.9m the year before.
