Christmas can prove difficult for those unable to afford things that typically go with the holidays like a good meal on Christmas Day and toys for children. In answer to such needs, some self-storage companies like The Space Place in the UK and Desert Storage in the United States are lending a helping hand.

The Space Place is working with the local Telford Food Bank, to ensure those in need have a proper Christmas dinner via a project aptly named Season’s Eatings. The company has donated 50 boxes to the food bank in which they will store donated food.

Ian Freeman, manager of The Space Place, told the Shropshirelive.com that this is the first year they have worked with the food bank.
